Miranda Lambert took a look back at a few photos from her Kerosene era and shared her reaction on TikTok on Wednesday (April 16).

Lambert launched her career as a powerhouse singer-songwriter with her unforgettable 12-track studio record on March 15, 2005. The Texas-born hitmaker’s debut included “Kerosene,” “What About Georgia?,” “Me and Charlie Talking,” and more. Lambert, now the most awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history, wondered whether she should “brace for impact” when she started scrolling through a few throwback photos from her Kerosene days.

“Oh, look at her little mini skirt with no cellulite. Rude,” Lambert said as she looked at a photo of herself in a denim skirt and pink top. The next photo marked the “beginning of it all,” when she took the stage with a fiery performance at the 39th ACM Awards in 2005. “Look, my hair is the same today. Look. We’re channeling, we’re channelling.” Glancing at another photo, Lambert said, “I rode the bull at Gilley’s.” She said when she reacted to the final snapshot: “Who’s this sweet little angel? She gone! She way gone.”

Lambert marked Kerosene’s 20th anniversary with a special edition that includes a 13th track that she wrote and recorded in 2005, “I Don’t Love Here Anymore.” Lambert confirmed when it released last month that she’ll release the first-ever Kerosene vinyl on April 25.
