Old Dominion captures the feeling of getting caught up in “echoes and memories” in the new anthem that arrived on Friday (April 4).

Old Dominion kicked off the weekend with “Me Most Nights,” a reflective song that the group said describes “that idea of sitting in a bar ‘cause you can’t go home, because of the echoes and memories is something we’ve all been through. But there’s also the part where you don’t wanna leave your house, too. All the blame, the dumb stuff that you could’ve overlooked, but now it’s too late, and there you are.”

“I wonder if you're smoking and drinking, thinking you'll always be alone/ Just a heart without a home, like me most nights/ Dreaming and scheming about all the ways to get it back/ Are you missing what you had, like me most nights/ Is your world on fire or nothing but ashes/ I don't wanna know but I can't keep from asking/ Who do you love, who's on your mind/ Is it somebody else or is it me most nights”

“Me Most Nights” is the latest song to release from the reigning, seven-time Country Music Association Vocal Group of the Year winners since “Making Good Time.” The band — made up of Matthew RamseyTrevor RosenWhit SellersGeoff Sprung, and Brad Tursi — released that song after their record-breaking run at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. They played seven headlining shows over the course of four days to fundraise for seven charities. Some of the shows included surprise guests Charles KelleyKenny ChesneyBrothers Osborne and more. Now, Old Dominion looks ahead to a lengthy run of shows on their headlining “How Good Is That World Tour,” which includes ERNEST and Redferrin.
