Hailey Whitters Needed Several Rabies Shots After Finding Bat In The Toilet

Hailey Whitters revealed she got five rabies shots after she discovered a bat in her toilet.

Whitters, 35, resurfaced her previously-posted video of that moment on TikTok earlier this month. The country star wrote in text that appears over the 12-second clip on TikTok: “She doesn’t know it yet but she’s about to get five rabies shots from peeing in this toilet before she knew there was a bat in there.”

Whitters previously shared a video of her unexpected encounter with a bat. The “Everything She Ain’t” singer said she “woke up this morning (and) there’s a bat in the toilet,” in a post on March 6, 2024. She added in her caption that she “was able to get in for a quick rabies shot before leaving for tour tomorrow don’t worry it’s ok I’m fine everything’s fine.”

In another TikTok from last March, Whitters filmed a “Get Ready With Me” video while joining award-winning duo Dan + Shay on tour. She said while applying her makeup at the Oklahoma City tour stop that she’d just received her second rabies vaccine after the bat incident.

Whitters wrote in the comments on TikTok that she’s “not sure” how the bat ended up in her toilet. “The pest removal guy said it came through the chimney in the middle of the night… not sure how it found the toilet.” Some TikTokers said this is a “”new fear unlocked,” “this is a nightmare I don’t wanna have,” “this is going to be my next biggest fear for the next 10 years” and more. Another suggested we’re “gonna need a song about this.”

Whitters assured she’s OK. She “got the shots and we are good over here.”
