Shania Twain Teases 'Surprise' In Upcoming Guest Star Role — How To Watch

Shania Twain is returning to The Odyssey “with a big surprise,” the iconic country star shared on Wednesday afternoon (March 26).

Twain played Heather when she made a guest appearance in the second episode of Doctor Odyssey, “Singles Week,” which premiered in fall 2024. Twain posted a few photos on Instagram with actor Don Johnson, who plays Captain Robert Massey on the show. The award-winning country stars wrote in her caption: “Reunited and it feels so goooood [Don Johnson] 😘 I’m back on The Odyssey with a big surprise for Captain Massey!”

Doctor Odyssey made its debut on September 26, 2024. The drama follows Dr. Max Bankman, played by Joshua Jackson, who “is the new on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship where the small but mighty medical team navigate unique medical crises and each other, miles from shore,” the show’s description reads. Jackson stars in the series alongside Phillipa Soo (Avery Morgan), Sean Teale (Tristan Silva), Johnson and others. Twain has been one of many famous guest stars to appear on Doctor Odyssey, along with fellow country artist Kelsea Ballerini and more.

Twain returns to Doctor Odyssey in a new episode on Thursday (March 27), airing at 9/8c on ABC and streaming on Hulu.
