Miranda Lambert called out an Instagram user who left a critical comment about the singer-songwriter wearing leggings.
Lambert shared several photos on Instagram on Friday (February 28) to recap the past month. The photos include stunning snapshots in Arizona, where Lambert filmed her latest music video. Some of the photos include the award-winning artist with horses, and others show her beaming while she poses in an outdoor yoga session with goats.
It was apparently the Arizona Goat Yoga photos that prompted a commenter to tell Lambert: “Yikes, legging type pants are not attractive on people with a little extra here and there. They don’t do you any favors. You are too beautiful to display the unattractive parts. I’m not a fan of leggings on anyone, actually. I’ve seen way more of a person’s business than I wanted to.”
Lambert — who also received dozens of comments as of publication time gushing over her happiness and her recent adventures — didn’t let that Instagram user have the last word.
“Good to know!” Lambert wrote in a response on her Instagram story with a laughing emoji. “I’ll do better about displaying my ‘unattractive parts.’”
The powerhouse country star recently premiered the cinematic, Western music video for her vulnerable ballad, “Run.” The stunning song appears on her latest studio album, Postcards From Texas, serving as a nod to her home state. Kate Rentz directed the music video, which was filmed in Gold Canyon, Arizona (and featured Lambert’s horse, Cool). Watch the video here:
