Thomas Rhett gets a face tattoo in the latest video he shared on social media on Wednesday (February 12).

“They said we needed content,” Rhett wrote in his caption on Instagram as he gets a tattoo of his wife’s name on his cheek. He tagged Teddy Swims, Post Malone and Jelly Roll — who all famously have face tattoos — in the comments, and asked “what do we think?”

The video is set to “After All The Bars Are Closed,” one of 14 tracks that appeared on his seventh studio record. About A Woman made its debut in August. He recently released “After All The Bars Are Closed (Last Call Version).” The song “captures the romantic atmosphere of extending the night beyond the bar, exploring a deep, budding romance,” per a previously-issued press release. Rhett's wife, Lauren Akins, appears in the music video.

Rhett will team up with Swims for a show this summer at iconic Fenway Park in Boston, Massachusetts. The duo also delivered a performance together at the 58th CMA Awards in November. Rhett will kick off his headlining “Better In Boots Tour” in early June, with Tucker Wetmore, The Castellows and Dasha on select dates. See the dates below.

Rhett is part of the star-studded lineup of the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival, which is slated to take place on Saturday, May 3. The festival, hosted by iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones, will return to Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Other artists in the lineup include Brooks & Dunn, Cole Swindell, Rascal Flatts, Sam Hunt, Megan Moroney, Bailey Zimmerman and Nate Smith.

Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed exclusively to all Hulu subscribers at no additional cost. Additional information about the livestream will be posted across Hulu’s platform and social media channels. Fans can tune in to the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival to catch all of the action live on May 3 at 8pm ET/5pm PT (7pm CT) across iHeartCountry stations nationwide and on the free iHeartRadio app via iHeartRadio's iHeartCountry station.
