Morgan Wallen depicts a toxic relationship in the newly-released title track of his new album. “I’m The Problem” released on Friday (January 31).

Wallen wrote the song with Ernest Keith SmithRyan VojtesakGrady Block and Jamie McLaughlin. It was produced by Joey Moi and Charlie Handsome. It follows “Smile,” “Love Somebody” and “Lies Lies Lies.” Wallen’s lyrics serve as a response to an on-again, off-again flame who accuses him of being “the problem” in the dysfunctional relationship. He fires back: “I guess I'm the problem/ And you're miss never do no wrong/ If I'm so awful/ Then why'd you stick around this long/ And if it's the whiskey/ Then why you keep on pullin' it off the shelf/ You hate that when you look at me you halfway see yourself/ And it got me thinkin’/ If I'm the problem/ You might be the reason.”

The reigning Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year announced last week that he would release “I’m The Problem,” and confirmed that it’s also the name of his 2025 headlining tour. Wallen’s rotating lineup includes Brooks & DunnMiranda LambertThomas Rhett and Koe Wetzel as direct support, and Gavin AdcockCorey KentElla Langley and Anne Wilson on select dates. See the list of tour stops below.

Wallen is one of many country stars nominated at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
