Cole Swindell debuted a new ballad on Friday (January 31), which his wife already deems âone of my favorites.â
Swindell teased âKill A Prayerâ on social media earlier this month. He posted a sneak peek on social media, and nodded to the songâs lyrics with the caption: âShe was more tent revival.. I was more chasing my jukebox idols.â
âKill A Prayerâ follows a few previously-released singles from Swindell, including âOne Day,â â3 Feet Tallâ and âForever To Me,â which served as the singerâs heartfelt wedding song when he married wife Courtney Little Swindell in June 2024 in Sonoma County, California. The newlyweds followed the intimate ceremony with a surprise celebration in Nashville, Tennessee. Swindellâs most recent full length album is Stereotype and its deluxe edition, Stereotype Broken. That album includes âDrinkaby,â âNever Say Neverâ with Lainey Wilson, âSingle Saturday Nightâ and more, plus his award-winning, Jo Dee Messina-inspired single, âShe Had Me At Heads Carolina.â
Swindell is known for those songs, plus âYou Should Be Here,â âChillinâ It,â âAinât Worth the Whiskey,â âFlatlinerâ with Dierks Bentley, âLet Me See Ya Girl,â âMiddle of a Memory,â âHope You Get Lonely Tonightâ and more throughout his career.
Swindell recently joined the star-studded lineup of the 2025 iHeartCountry Festival, which is slated to take place on Saturday, May 3. The festival, hosted by iHeartRadioâs Bobby Bones, will return to Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
