Parker McCollum shared new updates for fans in State College, Pennsylvania, where the “Burn it Down” artist recently had to end his headlining show early because of an unexpected sudden illness.

McCollum confirmed “we have officially rescheduled the show,” which is now set for October 2. McCollum said the lineup will include new artists, and the crowd will see a new set, a new production and “a whole new show.” Tickets that fans already purchased for the concert that originally took place on January 25 will be honored on the newly-scheduled date.

“We will be coming back. We will be making it up to you guys,” McCollum said in his update on Thursday (January 30). “Can’t wait to be there. Again, so sorry about what happened this past weekend. (I’m) getting back to feeling 100%, and leaving for the road tomorrow. But we’ll see you October 2 at State College, and looking forward to it.”

McCollum apologized again in a video earlier this week. The Texas-born singer-songwriter said at that time that he “didn’t have a choice” but to end his show early. “That was absolutely the worst thing ever to have to end a show like that, especially so early in the night. I cannot tell y’all how much I appreciate y’all being so understanding.”
