Watch: Lauren Alaina Debuts Growing Baby Bump In Surprise Pregnancy Reveal

Lauren Alaina is pregnant with Baby No. 1!

The “Road Less Traveled” artist revealed her growing baby bump at the end of the heartwarming music video of her newest single, “Those Kind Of Women,” (though she confirmed to PEOPLE that the bump in the video was fake, as she “barely had a bump” during filming). The song and music video both arrived on Wednesday (January 22). Alaina teased a “surprise” in the video, which ends with a sweet dedication to “my Momma and our sweet Baby Arnold coming summer 2025.”

Alaina hinted in an interview with PEOPLE that she and husband Cam Arnold have selected a name for their child, after one of their family members; however, the parents-to-be aren’t ready to share that name or the gender reveal as of publication time. She told the outlet that she didn’t realize “I can love something that I haven't even really held yet.”

Alaina married Arnold in a stunning ceremony at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The former American Idol star included fellow country artists Lindsay Ell, Dan + Shay’s Shay Mooney and others among the 450 guests when she tied the knot in February 2024. Alaina announced her engagement on the historic Grand Ole Opry stage in late 2022. She introduced Arnold to the Opry audience as “my fiancé,” and “my future husband.” She later shared a romantic ballad, “Just Wanna Know That You Love Me,” ahead of her wedding day.

The Unlocked artist said in her interview with PEOPLE that expecting her first baby is an “unexpected blessing” after losing her father, J.J. Suddeth, in July. 

“I do think that my dad passed away and got a stair up in heaven and was like, 'Hey, we got to work something out down there to send the family something good.' And it has been such an unexpected blessing,” she said in the interview. “We obviously still talk about and are dealing with the grief of my dad, but this baby has healed a lot of that for us ... like it's a little piece of my dad that will live on.”

Alaina is one of several country artists welcoming a baby in 2025. So far, Mooney has welcomed Baby No. 4, and rising country star Sarahbeth Taite announced Baby No. 2’s arrival.
