Lee Brice offered “a little sneak peek” of the emotional single he’s set to release at the end of this month.

The South Carolina-born country star announced last week that his first new release of 2025 will be “Cry.” Brice teamed up with songwriters Dallas Davidson, Ben Hayslip and David Garcia to pen the “confessional-style track…(which) follows a retro groove reminiscent of the great 1950s crooners and confesses that heartbreak can break a man too,” reads a press release announcing the song’s release date.

“Cry” is due to arrive on Friday, January 31, one day after Brice kicks off his “You, Me & My Guitar Too” in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. The tour includes stops in New York, Kentucky, Tennessee, New Hampshire and other destinations before wrapping up on March 29 in Peoria, Illinois, per Brice’s announcement in October. See the list of tour dates below.

Brice’s soon-to-debut song follows his holiday track, “Single Bells,” plus “Summer Of Us,” “Drinkin’ Buddies” with Nate Smith and Hailey Whitters, and more. His latest full-length album is Hey World, a 15-track record that arrived in 2020. The track list included “One Of The Girls,” “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” “Soul,” “I Hope You’re Happy Now” with Carly Pearce, the title track with Blessing Offer and more. Brice is also known for career-spanning hits like “Rumor,” “Hard To Love,” “Love Like Crazy,” “I Drive Your Truck,” “Parking Lot Party,” “I Don’t Dance,” and many others.
