Carrie Underwood will make her highly-anticipated return to American Idol as a judge two decades after she won the show and launched her career as a powerhouse country star.
That means it’s been 20 years since country fans listened to “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” “Before He Cheats,” “Wasted” and other hits from Underwood’s debut album, Some Hearts, for the first time.
