Lainey Wilson ā€œmight have to proposeā€ to her boyfriend, former football quarterback Devlin ā€œDuckā€ Hodges.

The ā€œ4x4xUā€ singer-songwriter caught up with Bunnie XO and CMT ahead of her New Year’s Eve performance in Nashville, Tennessee. Wilson was part of the star-studded lineup during the NEW YEAR’S EVE LIVE: NASHVILLE’S BIG BASHĀ on Tuesday evening (December 31). Keith Urban hosted the show with Entertainment Tonight's Rachel Smith. He also headlined the bash, along with Kane Brown and Jelly Roll.

ā€œI’m manifesting for you and Duck to get married,ā€ Bunnie Xo told Wilson after the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year said she wanted to spend more time with Bunnie and the Beautifully Broken artist. Wilson, 32, looked at the camera and said to Hodges, 28, ā€œno pressure, brother! No pressure. I might have to propose to him. We waitin’.ā€

ā€œNo, Duck’s gonna do it. I can feel it.ā€ Bunnie Xo said.

Wilson has been dating Hodges since 2021. The couple made their red carpet debut together at the 2023 ACM Awards at Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas. Wilson said in an interview withĀ PEOPLEĀ months after the red carpet debut that Hodges is ā€œa very lovable person. …I was never really able to write love songs, because I don't know if I had actually felt it, butĀ I'm writing me some love songs now. I’m grateful for him.ā€

Wilson released a few love songs on Whirlwind, her highly-anticipated followup to Bell Bottom Country, which won the country star her first Grammy Award in 2024. Wilson has shared sweet glimpses of the couple in clips set to ā€œ4x4xU,ā€Ā a ballad she wrote withĀ Jon DeciousĀ andĀ Aaron Raitiere. ā€œ4x4xUā€ appears on Wilson’s 14-track album, along with ā€œCountry’s Cool Again,ā€ ā€œGood Horsesā€ withĀ Miranda Lambert, ā€œWhirlwind,ā€ ā€œHang Tight Honeyā€ and more. Hodges recently shared one of Wilson’s posts on his Instagram story that captured the ā€œlast rodeo for the year.ā€ He added to Wilson: ā€œProud of you. Love you.ā€
