Dolly Parton is getting a star-studded birthday celebration next month.

Opry Goes Dolly is set for 7 p.m. on January 18, 2025, one day before Parton’s 79th birthday. Though the beloved country star will not attend the event in person, it will include performances in her honor by Ashley Cooke, Chapel Hart, Shaboozey, Rhonda Vincent and more, per the Grand Ole Opry. It wasn't immediately clear as of publication time when any additional artists might be announced. The Opry Goes Dolly celebration for Parton will also serve as the first Opry 100 show, celebrating 100 years of The Show That Made Country Music Famous in 2025.

“Time to celebrate an icon! 🦋 It’s the Queen of Country’s 79th birthday, and we’re celebrating in style,” reads the Grand Ole Opry’s announcement on Thursday (December 19). “Opry Goes Dolly returns January 18th featuring photo ops, specialty drinks, and MORE. While Dolly won’t be there in person, we’re honoring her with tributes throughout our FIRST Opry 100 show at the Opry House. It’s the perfect way to kick off our Opry 100 celebration and pay tribute to a true icon. $5 from every ticket sold upon announce goes back to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.”
