Brian Kelley and his wife, Brittney Kelley, are officially in “anniversary mode,” the country star said as he shared a selfie with his wife on Instagram on Thursday (December 12). The Kelleys are getting ready to celebrate 11 years of marriage.
Last year, as the couple celebrated their milestone decade of marriage, the “See You Next Summer” singer said the “best thing I ever did was marry you,” in a tribute to his wife. Brittany posted a throwback photo from the couple’s wedding day as she wrote a tribute of her own, writing “Here’s to TEN MORE.”
Brian and Brittney got married on December 16, 2013. They hosted an intimate ceremony at their home in Nashville, Tennessee, with only a few dozen guests attending. The Ed & Mary Margaret’s Son singer-songwriter said to PEOPLE at that time: “If you know us, you know that we really just dance to our own beat. We thought, ‘Let’s do it our way.’ …There was no official proposal or exchanging of rings. We had just fallen in love, and I knew I couldn’t live without her. It sounds like a terrible cheesy movie, but when you know, you know! With her, I just really wanted nothing more than to be married.”
