Lainey Wilson delivered an electrifying performance during the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show on Thanksgiving Day, on Thursday (November 28). The Whirlwind hitmaker donned a shimmering white jumpsuit — complete with her signature bell bottoms and cowboy hat — when she performed amid the New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
The performance included the iconic Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders and a surprise appearance by fellow award-winning artist Jelly Roll.
Wilson kicked off her performance with “Heart Like A Truck,” and included career-spanning hits “Hang Tight Honey,” “4x4xU,” “Save Me” with Jelly Roll, and delivered an epic finale with “Wildflowers and Wild Horses.”
Wilson recently wrapped up her 2024 headlining tour and released her highly-anticipated new album, Whirlwind, following her Grammy-winning 2022 record, Bell Bottom Country. The Louisiana-born country star previously said that her new 14-track project is “kind of the Western sister of Bell Bottom Country. Since that album, I have gotten to experience so many new things and meet folks from different walks of life. Because of that, I’ve become a better songwriter, and I have more understanding. I feel like I’ve truly stepped into what it is that I’m called to be doing. Ironically, I found my path within all the craziness—and that’s the whirlwind.”
