Christina Eagle put her own spin on Reba McEntire’s iconic anthem, “Fancy,” when she performed on The Voice Playoffs on Monday night (November 25).

Eagle, a country artist on Team Snoop Dogg, delivered a powerful performance of the classic country song that was originally recorded by singer-songwriter Bobby Gentry. McEntire included her unforgettable rendition on her 10-track album, Rumor Has It, in 1990.

McEntire, who beamed during the performance, hailed Eagle’s cover “incredible. I loved the way you changed it around, your choreography was great, you were passionate about it. Wonderful!” The beloved, legendary country artist jokingly added, “Sexy Meemaw can't do that no more,” following the performance. Coach Gwen Stefani also noted the Team Snoop singer's confidence in taking on a character song, and performing with “Queen” McEntire watching and judging the whole time. Snoop said Eagle “performed with such confidence, you damn near walked over here to me and Reba and walked in our laps. That's courageousness, you took charge, and that's some of the thing I was looking for from you. Thank you for making me happy,” he told Eagle, per NBC. Snoop hailed Eagle “the total package.”
