Ashley McBryde Shares Heartfelt Response To Tribute To Her In Her Hometown

Ashley McBryde recently received an unforgettable honor in her hometown of Waldron, Arkansas.

The award-winning country artist — known for “Light On In The Kitchen,” “The Devil I Know,” “One Night Stands,” “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega,” “Never Wanted To Be That Girl” with Carly Pearce, and other songs spanning her career — shared a few photos on Instagram on Monday (November 25). McBryde stood in front of a road sign welcoming people to he hometown, hailed the “birthplace of Ashley McBryde, Grand Ole Opry member.”

“What an incredibly special day, McBryde wrote in her caption. She quickly garnered hundreds of congratulatory comments from the historic Opry’s account, plus fellow artists and musicians Tenille Townes, Jenee Fleenor, Drew Baldridge and others. “I’ve always dreamed of making my Home State proud. They did me one better! Waldron, thank you for honoring me in such a special way. You’ll always be where I’m from.”

McBryde, who delivered a heartfelt tribute to late legend Kris Kristofferson during the 58th CMA Awards in Nashville, recently announced her newest single, “Ain’t Enough Cowboy Songs,” will make its debut on December 6.
