It's been over two decades, but Nicole Kidman is FINALLY setting the record straight on the image that went viral in 2001, seemingly triumphantly celebrating her divorce from now ex-husband, Tom Cruise.
The image in question, shows Kidman in a pink top and green skirt, walking in a parking lot, appearing to be cheering following the finalization of her divorce.
In a new interview from British GQ, Kidman is giving the fans what they want, and explaining what the image actually its — but it may ruin things for you if you believed the picture was a celebration of divorce from Cruise. She says that it's "not true" that the image shows her leaving her lawyer's office after her divorce was final. She shared, "That was not me; that was from a film, that wasn’t real life. I know that image!"
Nicole adds, "I've also seen the one where I’m clapping like that. 'Cause I had a massive heavy borrowed ring on and it was really painful, and I was scared of wrecking the jewellery. Ha! There’s always something behind the actual images that go out there, right?"

Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise got divorced in 2001 after 11 years of marriage, and two children, Bella (31) and Connor (29). She married her current husband, Keith Urban, five years later in 2006, and the couple shares two daughters, Sunday Rose (16) and Faith Margaret (13).
