Jana Kramer Mourns Loss Of 'One Tree Hill' Costar Paul Teal, Dead At 35

Jana Kramer shared a tribute to her late One Tree Hill costar on her Instagram story on Monday afternoon (November 18).

Paul Teal died on Friday (November 15). He was 35. His fiancée, Emilia Torello, wrote in a tribute to Teal, in part, that he was “my soulmate, my soon-to-be-husband, my rock, and my future. You filled my lungs with laughter, my stomach with butterflies, and my heart with love. You were taken too soon, in a battle that you fought bravely without fail. …I will love you forever.” Torello told TMZ that Teal died after a battle with stage 4 neuroendocrine pancreatic cancer, per a report on Monday.

Kramer, who played Alex Dupré on One Tree Hill, shared a photo with Teal on her Instagram story. The Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast host, 40, wrote that she’s “sending love and prayers to [Paul Teal’s] family and friends. I had the absolute pleasure of working with him on season 7 of OTH. He was always so sweet and kind and was so fun to work alongside. OTH family, wrap his family and friends in prayers please.” One Tree Hill’s Bethany Joy Lenz was also quick to pay tribute to Teal, writing in a post that she was “gutted,” and remembered Teal as “the kind of guy who lit top a room without trying. His bright smile, infectious laugh and kind heart made you want to be near him. …I’ll miss you, Paul. thank you for sharing your light with us.”
