Mickey Guyton apologized to her fans as she canceled additional shows on Wednesday (November 6), citing an ongoing illness and the need to take it easy.

“I’m so sorry to have to do this, but I have to cancel the shows tonight in Philly and Tuesday in Nashville,” Guyton said in a statement she posted on Instagram. “I’ve been sick for the past few weeks and have been pushing it as hard as I can to make it through, but my body is telling me that I need to rest and heal. I hope you all understand and hope to see you on the road next year.”

Dozens of commenters shared well-wishes to the “My Side Of The Country” artist. Guyton canceled two other shows in recent weeks after losing her voice. She said at that time, “unfortunately I’m sick and lost my voice so my shows tonight and tomorrow are canceled. I’m devastated I won’t get to play for you this week, but we’re working to reschedule and I hope to have more info for you on that soon.” Guyton has been headlining “CMT On Tour” with Abbey Cone and Denitia. Remaining dates include stops in Indianapolis, Indiana, and Lexington, Kentucky.
