Emo Cowgirl Megan Moroney is bracing herself for a blue Christmas⌠duh.
Moroney marked the beginning of the holiday season with a surprise 3-track EP titled Blue Christmas âŚduh. The collection, produced by Moroneyâs frequent collaborator Kristian Bush, features two original Christmas songs and the Georgia-born country starâs rendition of the classic ballad that Elvis Presley famously released in the 1950s. Moroney announced the EP hours ahead of its official debut on Friday (November 1).
- âAll I Want for Christmas is a Cowboyâ (Megan Moroney, Ben Williams, Mackenzie Carpenter, Micah Carpenter)
- âChristmas Morningâ (Megan Moroney, Ben Williams, Mackenzie Carpenter, Micah Carpenter)
- âBlue Christmasâ (Billy Hayes, Jay Johnson)
Moroneyâs rendition of âBlue Christmasâ and the EPâs title perfectly first the signature color scheme of the âMan on the Moonâ hitmakerâs sophomore era. Moroney released Am I Okay? in June, and extended the album with a deluxe edition, Am I Okay? (Iâll Be Fine), last month. The 17-track record is Moroneyâs highly-anticipated follow-up to her debut era (marked by the signature color green), Lucky. The CMA Award-nominated songstress delivered her debut album and its deluxe edition last year.
