Chase Stokes shared a heartfelt reaction to Kelsea Ballerini’s performance at her sold out album release show on Tuesday night (October 29) at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Outer Banks actor shared a photo inside the arena on his Instagram story, and wrote in a message to his girlfriend of nearly two years: “My love, you did the most incredible thing (including making myself and everybody bawl for a bit). I’m so proud of you. MSG. New York. Y’all showed up and showed out. KB, I f***ing love you.”

“To make a record your way, with your people, and sell out the most famous arena in the world, made my heart explode out of my chest, and a little water out of my eyeballs,” Stokes wrote in his caption when he shared photos on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon. “I’m so proud to be in your corner, to be on your team, and be your partner on this journey of life. I love you, I’m so proud of you.

Ballerini celebrated the release of her fifth studio record, Patterns, with the Madison Square Garden show featuring Aly & AJ and Tigirlily Gold. The East Tennessee-born singer-songwriter will kick off 2025 with her first headlining arena tour. That lineup includes special guests Maisie Peters and Marynn TaylorBallerini announced newly-added tour stops on Wednesday morning (October 30). Tickets will be available to the general public on Friday (November 1).

Ballerini’s new 15-track album includes a heartfelt apology to her mother, a tribute to her closest friends, a NSFW song and more. She offers a glimpse of what it was like for her to open herself up to love again after divorce on “First Rodeo,” which features Stokes in the music video. The pair began talking when Ballerini sent Stokes a DM on Instagram in December 2022. They first sparked relationship rumors in January 2023, and Ballerini confirmed their romance the following month. She thanked him in an anniversary tribute earlier this year “for making me write love songs. 🤍”
