Nicole Kidman made an appearance at the sold-out Bank of America Stadium during the Concert for Carolina benefit show on Saturday night (October 26) in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kidman joined her husband, country megastar Keith Urban, on stage to celebrate his birthday. Urban turns 57 on Saturday.

Urban was quick to join the star-studded Concert for Carolina lineup when Luke Combs and Eric Church started planning the event. Church introduced Urban to the stage, hailing him a “guy I’ve always been able to count on,” who, “even before I ask the question, he just says ‘yes, and whose car are we taking?’”

Kidman told the cheering crowd that Urban was “so happy to be here with all of you tonight because of Eric giving Keith a call.” The award-winning actress noted that it’s her husband’s birthday, “and he wanted to be here with you.” She, Church and thousands of concertgoers sang “Happy Birthday” to the globally beloved singer-songwriter and guitarist.

Urban was one of several artists to take the stage during Concert for Carolina. Combs and Church headlined the show, along with James Taylor and Billy Strings. Other artists joining the lineup included Sheryl Crow, Bailey Zimmerman, The Avett Brothers, Scotty McCreery, Chase Rice and Parmalee. Kidman made a surprise appearance, along with Randy Travis, “Helene” singer Wesko and others. More than 83,000 concertgoers raised more than $24.5 million for hurricane relief efforts during Concert for Carolina on Saturday night. It was all hosted by Caleb Pressley and Marty Smith, and live streamed on Veeps and iHeartRadio.
