Carrie Underwood Reveals How To Approach Her 'Intense' Leg Workout

Carrie Underwood acknowledged that her workout for sculpted legs can be “a little intense,” but the Grammy-winning country artist revealed some of her go-to exercises and shared modifications for each one on Wednesday afternoon (October 23). 

“A lot of people ask about my leg workout, and I admit, it’s a little intense,” Underwood said in the video shared on Instagram by the Denim & Rhinestones powerhouse and fit52, her fitness app. “For this shortened leg workout, I will be performing the more advanced variation, and [celebrity trainer Eve Overland] will show you some modified moves to meet you where you are. Grab a set of dumbbells, heavier weights if you have them, and a bench, and let’s get to work.”

Underwood and Overland demonstrated squat pulses, touchdowns and more throughout the 10-minute guided workout. fit52 users can try Underwood’s leg workout for “a super spicy burn,” or use the modifications that offer “more beginner-friendly modifications and low-impact options.”

Underwood recently announced the final shows in her Las Vegas residency, REFLECTION, which she kicked off in 2021. Underwood became the first and longest-running resident headliner at Resorts World Theatre. The final shows will take place in April 2025. See the full list of remaining REFLECTION dates below.

“I have absolutely loved performing in Las Vegas over the past three years,” Underwood said in a statement via her record label. “I am so proud of the REFLECTION production, which is truly one of my favorite shows to perform. It’s been so special to reflect on the greatest hits that have defined my career so far and to get to share them with the fans that come to Vegas from all over the world.”
