Maddie & Tae shared a “speechless” moment they recently experienced during a love performance.
The award-winning duo, made up of Maddie Font and Taylor Kerr, led a venue-wide sing-along with the crowd. Concertgoers joined Maddie & Tae in their rendition of “Die From A Broken Heart,” the relatable breakup anthem they released on their 15-track album, The Way It Feels, in 2020.
“How does he sleep at night?/ Mama, the nerve of this guy/ To leave me so easy/ Am I gonna be alright?/ I wanna kick myself for falling so hard/ Mama, can you die from a broken heart?”
Maddie & Tae shared a clip of that moment on TikTok, and said “this tour has been filled with moments like this. moments that leave us speechless and so genuinely grateful that this is what we call ‘work’ 🥹 thank you. means more than you will ever know! 🙏”
Most recently, Maddie & Tae released a 6-track EP titled What A Woman Can Do. The collection includes “Free Like,” “Sad Girl Summer,” “Heart They Didn’t Break” and more. Maddie & Tae said when the EP made its debut that “hopefully (listeners will) find a little something of yourself in. 🤍”
