Tim McGraw marked two decades since he released an iconic cross-genre collaboration.

It’s been 20 years since the country star teamed up with Nelly on “Over and Over.” The song appeared on Nelly’s fourth studio album, Suit, in 2004. McGraw said as he shared a video on Instagram on Monday evening (September 16) that the duo “had a blast together back then,” and they’re “still having a blast!! Loved having [Nelly] come out and surprise the crowd in St. Louis this summer. We gotta do that again!”

Nelly surprised the crowd in St. Louis, Missouri, where he grew up, when McGraw stopped there on his headlining tour earlier this year. McGraw shared a few snapshots of the epic surprise on Instagram at the time, saying that he’d “replay this moment over and over again.” The pair reunited months earlier in Nashville, Tennessee, where McGraw received the Icon Award at the 16th ACM Honors. Nelly Performed “Over and Over” as a tribute to McGraw on the historic Ryman Auditorium stage. Brett Young also delivered a rendition of McGraw's “Don't Take The Girl” in the Icon's honor, and McGraw delivered a moving speech with nods to his wife, Faith Hill, and their three daughters.
