Jon Pardi is sending out a warning to “all the guys out there falling for the hotties.”

Pardi kickstarted his newest chapter of music with “Friday Night Heartbreaker” on Friday (September 6). The California-born hitmaker said the single delivers “hot girl warnings,” he recently told iHeartCountry, and cautions other men about heartbreak when they fall for a “game player” on a Friday night out. Songwriters Josh Miller, Chris Tompkins, Jessie Jo Dillon, Daniel Ross and Ryan Hurd teamed up to write “Friday Night Heartbreaker.” The anthem serves as the first song to release from Pardi's forthcoming studio album, Honkytonk Hollywood.

“‘Friday Night Heartbreaker’ kicks down the door of this next musical chapter,” Pardi said in a statement via his record label. “I challenged myself to elevate in every aspect, and this is the tip of the spear for what’s to come. When I first heard the song, I knew instantly that I had to cut it… and what a journey it was recording alongside the professor Jay Joyce. I’m as excited as I have ever been to share new music.”

Pardi previously shared sneak peeks of “Friday Night Heartbreaker” ahead of its release. He shared a few stunning black-and-white snapshots of his wife, Summer Pardi, captioned with lyrics: “She’s a Friday Night Heartbreaker/ Hellraiser/ Game player/ Better do yourself a favor.” The Grand Ole Opry star confirmed the song’s release date earlier this week.

Pardi confirmed the title of his next record, Honkytonk Hollywood, on his Instagram story earlier this summer; however, he did not indicate a release date at that time. The album will be his latest full-length project since releasing Mr. Saturday Night in September 2022 and his Christmas album last year. Listen to “Friday Night Heartbreaker” here:
