Jana Kramer and her husband, Allan Russell, delivered “exciting news” together on her podcast on Thursday (September 5).
“We have some very exciting news that we wanna share with you guys,” Kramer said to her Whine Down with Jana Kramer listeners. She teased “we’re having a…” and revealed a new plan for the Thursday edition of her podcast involving her new husband, who will serve as a cohost. “It’s like it’s a new baby, in a sense.”
“Breaking news: our Thursday episode is going to be called Adult Education with Jana and Allan. Instead of Therapy Thursday. It’s called Adult Education with Jana and Allan,” Kramer announced. The first installment is titled The Key to Confidence. Kramer and Russell host body positivity activist Ella Halikas to discuss “how to deal with negative comments, why we need to stop believing that skinny equals healthy, and how to raise your own personal confidence,” throughout the half-hour episode.
Kramer, 40, and Scottish former soccer star Russell, 43, got married in Scotland on July 13. The intimate ceremony included Kramer’s two children from her previous marriage, Jolie, 8, and Jace, 5, Russell’s son Troy, 16, from a previous relationship, and Roman James Russell, the baby Kramer and Russell share. He was born in November 2023. Kramer recently announced plans to release “Warrior,” a song inspired by her relationship with Russell, who has previously referred to Kramer as a warrior, on September 13. He said when Roman was born that Kramer is “an absolute warrior of a woman and incredible mum who I simply adore.”
