Riley Green revealed details about his next full-length album on Tuesday (September 3), shortly after performing an unreleased duet with Ella Langley for the first time. That ballad serves as the title track of Green’s upcoming project.
Green confirmed his new album is titled Don’t Mind If I Do. It’s set to release next month Green teamed up with Langley to deliver a debut live performance during a recent show. They were both part of the lineup at Festival Country Lotbinière on Saturday, August 24 in Quebec, Canada. Green addressed the crowd in a fan-recorded video on TikTok: “If y’all don’t mind, me and Ella have been on tour for a while together…we’ve got a big song together. Some of y’all may have heard that one. We’ve also got another song that we haven’t played in front of anybody before. We’re thinking about playing it for y’all tonight.
“Wish us luck here, and if we mess it up, just don’t post it,” Green added. “It’s a song I wrote called ‘Don’t Mind If I Do.’”
Previously, Green and Langley released “you look like you love me,” which appears on Langley’s debut album, hungover. The two artists — and Jamey Johnson — recently premiered a cinematic music video set in the old West. Green’s latest song to release is “Rather Be,” which arrived in July. Before that, he debuted a 7-track EP, Way Out Here, adding to his growing list of career-spanning anthems like “Damn Good Day To Leave,” “Different ‘Round Here,” “There WAs This Girl,” “If It Wasn’t For Trucks,” and more. Don’t Mind If I Do is due on October 18.
