Jon Pardi confirmed the release date of his newest song, “Friday Night Heartbreaker,” and shared a snippet of the unreleased anthem on Tuesday morning (September 3).
Pardi’s official announcement arrives after he posted a few teasers on his social media pages in recent days, including some smoldering black-and-white images of his wife, Summer Pardi, captioned with “Friday Night Heartbreaker” lyrics: “She’s a Friday Night Heartbreaker/ Hellraiser/ Game player/ Better do yourself a favor.” Summer shared that post on her own Instagram story wrote: “new [Jon Pardi] music.” Neither one of them shared the release date at that time.
Pardi previously confirmed on his Instagram story that his forthcoming album is titled Honkytonk Hollywood, though the California-born Grand Ole Opry star was unable to announce the release date of the project at that time. Honkytonk Hollywood will arrive more than two years after Pardi’s last full-length country record, Mr. Saturday Night, which released in September 2022. The country hitmaker and father of two also released a Christmas album and a collaboration with Luke Bryan, “Cowboys and Plowboys,” in October 2023, and has been building anticipation for his next project.
“Friday Night Heartbreaker” is slated to release on Friday (September 6). Listen to the sneak peek here:
