Watch Sneak Peek Of Krystal Keith's Moving Tribute To Father Toby Keith

Krystal Keith delivered a moving rendition of “Don’t Let The Old Man In” when she honored her late father, country legend Toby Keith, during a special tribute concert at Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Krystal took the stage during the Toby Keith: American Icon show that airs on Wednesday evening (August 28). She wore her father’s custom-made hat as she performed the ballad, which Toby previously shared was inspired by legendary actor Clint Eastwood. A video shared on Toby’s Instagram account on Wednesday offers a preview of Krystal’s tribute. the caption states that “there wasn’t a dry eye in the room when Toby’s daughter [Krystal Keith] gave this beautiful performance of ‘Don’t Let The Old Man In’ during the Toby Keith: American Icon concert.”

The event supported The Toby Keith Foundation’s OK Kids Korral and Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt with a portion of the proceeds, per a previously-issued press release.

In February, Toby “passed peacefully…surrounded by his family,” following a battle with stomach cancer, according to a statement shared on his social media pages at that time. He was 62. the legendary country star is survived by his wife, Tricia Lucus, and children Krystal, Shelley Covel Rowland and Stelen Keith Covel. Krystal was one of many to share heartfelt tributes to her father, including one on his July 8 birthday, “we miss him like crazy.”
