How Zac Brown Band Still Keeps Beachy, Summertime Vibes Alive

Zac Brown Band kept summer vibes alive with “Two Blue Chairs & You,” the band’s beachy new singly that released on Friday (August 23). It’s the next track to arrive from the band’s upcoming EP, frontman Zac Brown said.

Brown co-produced the song with frequent collaborator Ben Simonetti. the producing duo wrote “Two Blue Chairs & You” with Jonathan Singleton and Rob Snyder, notes a press release announcing the summertime anthem’s debut on Friday morning. It’s Zac Brown Band’s latest song to release since “Tie Up” — drawing inspiration from Brown’s favorite spot to tie up on Lake Lanier in North Georgia — a remix of “Beautiful Drug” featuring late DJ Avicii, and “Pirates & Parrots” featuring Mac McAnally, a heartfelt tribute to late legend Jimmy Buffett. Zac Brown Band’s latest project is From The Road, Vol. 1: Covers, which includes 13 live performances over the years (including “Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Baba O’Riley,” “Margaritaville,” and many others). Before that, the band released The Comeback and the deluxe edition, featuring “Same Boat,” “Out IN The Middle,” “Wild Palomino,” and more.

“Two Blue Chairs & You” arrives as Zac Brown Band heads into the final weekend of Kenny Chesney’s headlining “Sun Goes Down Tour,” which also includes Megan Moroney and Uncle Kracker. Listen to the band’s newest song here:
