Kimberly Williams-Paisley expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support she received after opening up about her recent surgery and years-long health journey.

Williams-Paisley shared a selfie from her hospital bed over the weekend. The actress had surgery after discovering “damage to my laryngeal nerve,” and enduring a “challenging couple of years,” she opened up in her post. Williams-Paisley shared another selfie on Instagram on Monday (August 19). She wrote in that caption:

“Thank you so much for all the love and support following my last post. You reminded me of the power of authenticity, vulnerability and hope. I’m feeling validated and seen and ever more grateful. I read and responded to as many comments as I could and I’m still going! THANK YOU. I see you too. Recovery is on track and I’m feeling really good. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 With much love and gratitude, Kim ❤️❤️❤️”
