The Dan + Shay artist and his family made the announcement together on Monday afternoon (July 29). Shay and Hannah shared a video set to “Million Little Miracles” by Elevation Worship and Maverick City Music that opens with the two of them sitting on the couch smiling at one another. Their three children join them and Hannah holds up a pregnancy test to align with the lyric, “one, two, three, four, I can't even count 'em all.”
Baby No. 4 follows big brothers Asher James, who turned 7 in January, Ames Alexander, who tuned 4 in February, and Abram Shay, who turned 1 earlier this year. Shay said he would “never be the same” when he became a father for the first time in 2017. He said he was “so proud to be your dad,” when he announced his second son’s birth, and said “grateful doesn’t begin to cover it,” when Baby No. 3 arrived.
Shay is one of several country artists to announce a new baby joining the family in recent months. Country singers Sarahbeth Taite and Chase Bryant made pregnancy announcements with their respective spouses earlier this month, and Maddie & Tae’s Taylor Kerr revealed her pregnancy with Baby No. 2 in June. Other artists — including Jon Pardi, Kane Brown and wife Katelyn Brown, Lady A’s Dave Haywood and more — have shared news of their newborn babies in 2024. See the Mooney family's announcement below.
