Watch Jordan Davis Call Out Guy Who 'Must’ve Up And Lost His Mind'

Jordan Davis called out a guy who “must’ve up and lost his mind.”

The Louisiana-born country star delivered his infectious new anthem, “I Ain’t Sayin’,” to kick off the weekend on Friday (July 26). Davis spots a girl standing in a bar scanning the room as she waits for someone, and knows he “wouldn’t wanna be in his boots.” Davis sings that although he “ain’t saying I’m an angel,” the guy she’s waiting on “sure as hell ain’t” the one for her.

“I ain't saying I'm an angel, baby, if you can't tell/ No, I ain't the take-you-home-to-mama type/ And I ain't sayin' he's a bad guy, all I know is that guy/ Must've up and lost his mind tonight/ ‘Cause you're down to the ice in that drink/ He didn't buy, I'm here and he's MIA/ That ain't no kinda love, I ain't sayin' I'm the one/ I’m just sayin' he sure as hell ain’t/ He sure as hell ain’t”

Davis released “I Ain’t Sayin’” one day after it exclusively premiered on iHeartCountry for 24 hours on Thursday (July 25). It’s the latest single to release from the award-winning singer-songwriter since “Church In A Chevy,” a live acoustic rendition of “Guiding Light” featuring Sam Hunt, and “Good News Sold” earlier this year. His latest full-length album, Bluebird Days, arrived in February 2023. The 17-track album includes “Tucson Too Late,” “What My World Spins Around,” “Next Thing You Know,” “Midnight Crisis” featuring Danielle Bradbery, “Buy Dirt” featuring Luke Bryan, and “Damn Good Time,” the track that inspired the name of his ongoing headlining tour with Mitchell Tenpenny and Ashley Cooke.
