Lee Brice stirs carefree memories of summer with his nostalgic storytelling anthem, “Summer of Us,” which made its debut on Friday (July 26).

Brice teamed up with Ben Glover, Billy Montana and Joe Leathers to write the song that takes listeners back to memories of summer defined by “fast cars and falling in love.” It was produced by Ben Glover and Jerrod Niemann, per a press release issued on Friday.

"Summer holds so many great memories for all of us - vacation time with the family, backyard barbeques with neighbors and friends, or finding young love,” Brice said in the release. “This song brings back a lot of those memories for me and I hope it does the same for everyone who hears it."

“Summer of Us” follows Brice’s weekend-worthy collaboration, “Drinkin’ Buddies,” a tribute to good friends featuring Nate Smith and Hailey Whitters. That song was also produced by Glover and Niemann, and written by Zach KaleChris Destefano and Justin Wilson. Brice has released several songs since his latest full-length project, Hey World, arrived in November 2020. The 15-track album included “One Of Them Girls,” “Memory I Don’t Mess With,” “Soul,” “I Hope You’re Happy Now” featuring Carly Pearce, “Hey World” featuring Blessing Offor and more, adding to a growing list of career-spanning hits.
