Bunnie Xo is hoping to host music legend Dolly Parton on an episode of her podcast (though she might “faint” if it happens).
Bunnie Xo, wife of award-winning artist Jelly Roll, wrote in a recent post on Facebook, interspersed with crying face emojis: “Y’all, I MIGHT get Dolly on the podcast this season & if I do I’ll faint. LIKE WHATTTT?? Queen MOTHER DOLLY - I’ll cry & croak all at the same time. I literally named my podcast as homage to her.”
The Dumb Blonde podcast — which takes on the same title as Parton’s single on her debut album in 1967 — premiered in 2019. Bunnie Xo’s podcast aims to be “the ultimate destination for comedy, trending and lifestyle. Get ready to dive into hilarious discussions about relationships, trauma, embarrassing moments, and all the realness life throws at us,” its description reads. “Join Bunnie every week to laugh, relate, and embrace your inner healing.”
Bunnie Xo met Jelly Roll in 2015. The reigning Best New Artist award in both Pop and Country categories at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards popped the question, and they spontaneously got married the following year in a courthouse wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. They returned for a vow renewal last year, and now, they’re talking about the possibility of welcoming a new baby into the family.
