Kenny Chesney posted photos from a recent show in Los Angeles, California, including a snapshot of surprise guest Kelsea Ballerini joining him on stage.
“Thank you, Los Angeles. There was so much raw energy on stage last night at [SoFi Stadium]. What a night. Thanks so much to [Kelsea Ballerini] for surprising us all. Love you, Kelsea. And thanks to everyone for all the love. We felt every bit of it,” Chesney wrote in his caption as he shared several photos on Instagram. The Knoxville, Tennessee-born country megastar is currently on his headlining “Sun Goes Down Tour,” titled after his early 2000s single featuring tour mate Uncle Kracker. The ongoing tour also includes Zac Brown Band and Megan Moroney.
Ballerini, who recently arrived in L.A. to film her first season as a coach on The Voice, featured Chesney on the duet that led to her first Country Music Association Award wins. The two East Tennesseans teamed up on “half of my hometown” in 2020. Ballerini scored her first CMAs in the Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories.
