Dave Haywood and his wife have welcomed Baby No. 3.
Haywood — who is a third of award-winning trio Lady A, along with Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott — announced his newborn son’s arrival on Tuesday (July 16).
“We’re so grateful for this little boy!” Haywood said as he shared the first photo of his newborn son on Instagram. “Joseph Michael Haywood joined the family on July 10th. He is named after [Haywood's wife] Kelli’s late father and my brother. Mom and baby are doing great and we feel so blessed for this healthy bundle of joy 💙”
Last month, Haywood posted a black-and-white family photo by photographer Mandy Johnson that included his son, Cash Van, and daughter, Lillie Renee, ages 9 and 6, respectively. The family embraced one another and cradled Kelli Cashiola Haywood’s baby bump as the Lady A star announced that another son was on the way: “I’ve always been a big fan of trios! Baby Boy Haywood coming in July. 💙👶🏻”
The pregnancy announcement quickly drew congratulatory messages from fans and fellow artists, including Little Big Town’s Karen Fairchild, Dave Barnes, and bandmate Kelley, who said it had been a “hard secret to keep.”
(NAME) is the newest child to join the Lady A family. Scott and her husband are parents to three young girls (Eisele Kaye, and twins Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn). Kelley and his wife are parents to son Ward Charles.
Haywood is one of several country artists to welcome a new baby into the family in 2024.
