Thomas Rhett Shares High School Throwback Photos With Wife Lauren Akins

Thomas Rhett shared throwback photos with his wife, Lauren Akins, that were reminiscent of the couple’s high school days on Monday (July 15).

Rhett remembered as he shared old photos on TikTok and Instagram that “84 was the number that I wore under Friday lights.” The country star and his wife met while growing up. They got married in October 2012, and have since welcomed four children together. Rhett's caption is a reference to his latest anthem that released on Friday (July 12) from his seventh studio album. “Overdrive” is the third track to release from About A Womanwith a music video starring Rhett’s younger brother, Tyler Lankford — following “Gone Country” and “Beautiful As You.” The full 14-track album is set to make its debut on August 23.
