Morgan Wallen and ERNEST appear to have deactivated their Instagram accounts without warning.

Over the weekend, the two country singer-songwriters appeared to remove their profiles with no prior announcement or explanation. Neither artist has commented on their departure from the social media platform as of publication time on Monday afternoon (June 24).

The Instagram departure arrives shortly after Wallen delivered an update to his fans. He said in a video on his Instagram story last week that he’d been “in the studio,” and spending time with his son, Indigo Wilder, who turns 4 next month. Wallen also said he would release his song “Lies, Lies, Lies” soon; however, he didn’t reveal the release date at that time.

ERNEST, who has previously collaborated with Wallen, recently shared a video of a performance with Lainey Wilson at the historic Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, Tennessee. ERNEST said when he posted the video last week that he “finally got to sing” the duet he recorded with Wilson, which appears on his latest full-length album that arrived in April, along with a collaboration with Wallen and others. Award-winning songwriter Ashley Gorley and Wallen’s “I Had Some Help” partner, Post Malone, also performed at the Bluebird Cafe that evening.
