On Father’s Day, Cole Swindell shared a photo of the seat he saved for his late father on his wedding day last week.

The “You Should Be Here” artist lost his father in 2013, and lost his mother in 2021. Swindell posted a photo of the seat reserved at the wedding for William Keith Swindell on X, formerly Twitter, and wrote in a post on Sunday (June 16): “Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads out there! Also, I realize today is a tough one for some folks that may have lost theirs a little too soon. Hang in there.. they are watching over us! Had mine a seat saved at our ceremony.”

Swindell and his wife, Courtney Little Swindell, got married on June 12 in Sonoma, California. The newlyweds shared the first glimpse of their wedding day when they shared a few photos by luxury wedding photographer Madison Hare the following day. Swindell said on The Bobby Bones Show in 2021 that featuring Little in his “Some Habits” music video was the couple’s first date. Swindell announced in May 2023 that he’d proposed, and earlier this year, he released the couple’s wedding song, the romantic ballad “Forever To Me.”
