Shay Mooney hilariously shared “what happens when we’re left unsupervised” in Los Angeles, California.
The Dan + Shay star posted a video on Instagram on Thursday (June 13), showing him plunging into a pool on a bright, sunny day in L.A. His duo partner, Dan Smyers, and his wife, Abby Smyers, wanted to know in the comments whether the phone survived the leap into the pool. Mooney replied: “Writing this with the phone in question.” Mooney set the video to “Heaven + Back,” one of 12 tracks to appear on the duo’s latest full-length album, Bigger Houses, in September 2023, which released after Smyers and Mooney revealed they nearly parted ways as a duo; however, they reunited stronger than ever and “the process of this album completely changed our lives,” Mooney previously said.
Bigger Houses also included “Save Me The Trouble,” “Heartbreak On The Map,” “We Should Get Married,” the title track and other highlights. The first-ever coaching duo on The Voice kicked off their headlining “Heartbreak On The Map Tour” earlier this year, and they're gearing up for a lengthy list of summer shows on the horizon with Jake Owen and Dylan Marlowe.
