Carrie Underwood showed off her sculpted legs in a shimmering gown as she honored Hillary Lindsey and other songwriters at the Songwriters Hall Of Fame 2024 Induction Ceremony and Awards Gala on Thursday night (June 13) in New York City.

Underwood posted photos on Instagram on Friday morning (June 14), spotlighting Lindsey, who has written songs for Underwood like “Jesus Take The Wheel,” in addition to hits by Keith Urban, Kacey Musgraves, Luke Bryan, Little Big Town and many other country artists. Underwood wore a silver gown that highlighted her toned legs (she previously shared a “spicy,” Vegas-inspired workout routine) on the red carpet.

The “Ghost Story” singer said she “had the best night celebrating Hillary Lindsey and many other incredible songwriters and artists last night at the Songwriters Hall Of Fame 2024 Induction & Awards Gala! It was so cool to have so many genres represented in one place! And, of course, being there for my girl, Hillary, was a true joy! There is no one who deserves it more! I am SO proud of my friend and cowriter for the mark she has made on music and I am beyond blessed to have learned so much from her over the years. Cheers to Hillary and to all the inductees!!!”

Lindsey was inducted alongside Timothy “Timbaland” Mosley, Dean Pitchford, R.E.M., Steely Dan and Cindy Walker. Special awards went to Diane Warren (Johnny Mercer Award) and SZA (Hal David Starlight Award), according to the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
