Chase Stokes shared snapshots from the beach as he cherished time with “my woman,” Kelsea Ballerini, his dogs and his family.
The Outer Banks actor celebrated his one-year anniversary with Ballerini earlier this year. They began talking when Ballerini slid into Stokes’ DMs in December 2022, and started dating the following month. Dating rumors swirled when Stokes posted a photo sitting closely with Ballerini while the pair attended the College Football Playoff National Championship on January 9, 2023. Ballerini confirmed the new relationship with Stokes in an interview the following month.
Since then, the relationship has seemed to inspire Ballerini’s songwriting as she prepares for her next chapter of music, following Subject To Change and Rolling Up The Welcome Mat. In November, she debuted “To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak” with songwriters Karen Fairchild and Hillary Lindsey on the Grand Ol Opry stage in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, Ballerini released a reimagined version of her breakthrough single, “Love Me Like You Mean It,” to mark the song’s 10-year anniversary.
During a recent rooftop show in Nashville, Ballerini’s mom, Carla, conducted a Q&A with her daughter, and teased “some incredible love songs” on the upcoming album. Ballerini confirmed the record will release sometime this year; however, the timeline was not immediately known as of publication time on Tuesday (June 11).
