Jelly Roll revealed an unreleased song when he headlined the main stage at CMA Fest on Saturday night (June 8) in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Jelly Roll performed “I Am Not Okay” when he took the stage during the star-studded festival over the weekend. It’s his next track to release after his full-length album, Whitsitt Chapel, arrived in 2023. He recently teased the unreleased ballad with a sneak peek on social media, and confirmed the song will be available on Wednesday (June 12). The reigning CMA New Artist of the Year wrote in his caption on Instagram: “I am not okay but it’s all gonna be all right.”

Whitsitt Chapel released in June 2023. The 13-track project included “Halfway To Hell,” “Behind Bars” with Brantley Gilbert and Struggle Jennings, “Unlive” with Yelawolf, “Need A Favor” and award-winning collaboration with Lainey Wilson, “Save Me,” among other highlights.

Jelly Roll is teaming up with Ashley McBryde to host CMA Fest when the three-hour televised concert special airs later this month. The special will include “never-before-seen performances and surprise collaborations from Country Music’s most exciting acts. Performances will be revealed soon,” the Country Music Association previously stated. CMA Fest will air on Tuesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC, and will be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
