Blake Shelton and Post Malone made a surprise appearance to perform their unreleased collaboration on the CMA Fest main stage on Thursday night (June 6) in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee.

Shelton and Posty teamed up on “Somebody Pour Me a Drink,” delivering the first-ever performance at Nissan Stadium and reuniting later that night at Shelton’s bar on Lower Broadway. Other artists included in the lineup on Thursday include Lynyrd Skynyrd, Thomas Rhett, Ashley McBryde and more. CMA Fest, hailed the longest-running country festival in the world, kicked off on Thursday and runs through Sunday (June 9). It’ll air in a televised concert special hosted by McBryde and Jelly Roll on Tuesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on ABC and streaming the next day on Hulu.

“Somebody Pour Me a Drink” marks Post Malone’s latest collaboration, which will appear on his forthcoming country album. He released “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen last month, and before that, he performed at the 2024 Stagecoach festival and took the stage with Wallen and HARDY at the CMA Awards with a tribute to Joe Diffie. Post Malone and Shelton posted sneak peeks of their unreleased collaboration on their social media pages last month; however, they have not confirmed a release date as of publication time on Friday (June 7).
