Lainey Wilson shared a video of the moment she called her family on FaceTime to surprise them with Wynonna Judd.

Wilson, the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, said that FaceTime call was the moment her parents “REALLY started to think I was cool,” she wrote in her caption on Instagram on Thursday evening (My 23) when she shared the video and a few other snapshots with Judd. The duo recently joined forces to record their own version of “Refugee,” an 80s classic by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, on the upcoming Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty album.

“This was the moment we FaceTimed my folks back at home and they REALLY started to think I was cool,” Wilson wrote in her caption, sharing the video on the second slide of her Instagram post. “[Wynonna Judd], it has been a career highlight to work together on this song. I cherish our life-long friendship so much. Wynonna is the real deal y’all and I’m really proud of what we did with this one all in the name of [Tom Petty]’s honor. If you haven’t already, check out “Refugee” now off of ‘Petty Country: A Country Music Celebration of Tom Petty.’”

Judd and Wilson teamed up on “Refugee” on the star-studded tribute album to the late music legend. Other tracks that have released early include Dierks Bentley’s cover of “American Girl,” Chris Stapleton’s rendition of “I Should Have Known It,” Dolly Parton’s “Southern Accents” and “Yer So Bad” by Steve Earle. The full album is set to release on June 21. Listen to “Refugee” by Judd and Wilson here:
