Kelsea Ballerini's incredible 2024 ACM Awards performance was a group effort as she brought out Noah Kahan for an exciting on-stage collaboration.
The "Miss Me More" singer teamed up with the "Growing Sideways" musician at the 59th Academy of Country Music Awards in Frisco, Texas, on Thursday (May 16) for a must-see mashup of songs about trying to move on from relationships.
Ballerini kicked off the performance with her song "Mountain With A View," from the ACM Award-nominated album Rolling Up the Welcome Mat. As she lay upon a couch on the stage, hills serving as a backdrop, she sang about a relationship running its course and being "done tryin'."
The performance then pivoted to Kahan standing in a grassy field, strumming his guitar and singing his popular track "Stick Season" from his 2022 album of the same name. As the song went on, Ballerini joined in with gorgeous harmonies, singing about how they are still "split in half" after the end of a past relationship, before they combined the tracks to end the performance together.
In addition to the beautiful performance, Ballerini was also up for two awards during the night, receiving nominations for Female Artist of the Year and Album of the Year. Check out the full list of nominees and winners.
Ballerini, who recently shocked the crowd during a surprise concert appearance with Kenny Chesney, also made her Met Gala debut at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art earlier this month, walking the "red" carpet alongside her shirtless boyfriend Chase Stokes and wowing fans on fashion's biggest night. The "HEARTFIRST" singer was perfectly on theme for the night's "Garden of Time" dress code honoring the Costume Institute's new exhibit "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion," wearing a stunning floral gown with sheer cutouts and a train.
Days after the gala, Ballerini shared even more looks from what she called "a night and experience i'll never forget," even highlighting the moment she saw her Michael Kors gown for the very first time.
